The 2017 Justice Conference theme is “Love Thy Neighbor.” We live in complex and challenging times. How can Jesus’ message impact our daily realities? Our understanding of him should compel us to love others and engage in work for justice.

The Justice Conference allows followers of Jesus to better understand how our faith enables us to address major justice issues. Among justice movements there are many causes – ours is a call for righteousness and justice. We must follow the example of Jesus and live justly.

The 2017 Justice Conference theme is “Love Thy Neighbor” (Mark 12). We live in complex and challenging times. Globally the threats of terrorism, violence, and climate change continue to shadow our world. Locally, cultural divisions are being exploited for political advantage, while poverty and systemic injustice continue to lead to widening equity gaps within our society. The timeless truth of Jesus is our greatest call to action and change. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Our understanding of God should compel love for others and engagement in justice. Will you join us?
