Scott Kellermann, MD, a California-based physician specializing in tropical medicine, and his wife, Carol, an educator, spent twenty-four years providing healthcare to the Batwa people and others in southwest Uganda. They helped established the church-run Bwindi Community Hospital and set up the Kellermann Foundation to support its ongoing work.
