Mindy Misener is a graduate of Williams College and the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan. Her prose has appeared in The Missouri Review, The Common, Image, The Pinch, CrossCurrents, and The Appalachian Review, among other outlets. After a decade of teaching college writing, she began a path toward ordination in the United Church of Christ; she is enrolled at Yale Divinity School.
