    MaryTownsend
    Mary Townsend serves as assistant professor of philosophy at St. John’s University. Her book, The Woman Question in Plato’s Republic, was called “required reading” by the University of Pennsylvania’s Emily Wilson, recent translator of Homer’s Odyssey.
