    William Law

    William Law (1686–1761) was an author and Church of England priest whose writing influenced many, including William Wilberforce and Charles and John Wesley. His best-known works, Practical Treatise upon Christian Perfection and Serious Call to a Devout and Holy Life, are still in print.
