Robert Donnelly is a PhD candidate in Latin American Studies at the University of New Mexico. His research has examined religiously based social movements in the region and he is working on a book on the life of James Guadalupe Carney aka Padre Lupe, a Jesuit who disappeared in Honduras in 1983.
