Jürgen Moltmann (1926–2024) was a German theologian and professor at the University of Tübingen. He is a German theologian and professor emeritus at the University of Tübingen. He cites the Blumhardts as contributors to his thought, and served as a mentor for Miraslov Volf. His best-known works are Theology of Hope and The Crucified God.
