On May 24 Plough will announce and introduce the winning poet and two finalists, who will read and discuss their poems in a live virtual event with Plough poetry editor A. M. Juster and Rhina P. Espaillat, the beloved ninety-year-old Dominican-American poet for whom the award is named.
Plough’s third annual Rhina P. Espaillat Poetry Award competition attracted over 900 poems, including many from acclaimed poets (judging is blind).
