    Sustaining Revival Conference

Fox Hill Bruderhof ⁄ Walden, New York

Plough will host a weekend conference for young adults at the Bruderhof's Fox Hill community in Walden, New York. The weekend will consist of conversations, keynotes, and informal discussion on how to continue to grow in faith and live it out in everyday life. The event is free of charge for accepted applicants. Application to attend is open to all between eighteen and thirty.

    Why?

Amidst growing cultural and social challenges, young people are turning to faith and God: Christian events on college campuses are well attended, Christian content online is heavily watched, and church attendance is on the rise, particularly among young Christians. The reasons behind this return to faith among young people are varied, but it is important that one’s individual commitment to Christ continues to grow and flourish in communities beyond the moment when one finds and accepts Christ. The complete surrender and dedication of our lives to Christ cannot be just a fleeting feeling or the story of a college semester in which we found God. These beginnings must be nurtured and fed, strengthened and maintained. It takes a lifetime of commitment to truly serve Christ. As Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62). The “Sustaining Revival Conference” will be rooted in the Gospels and will be dedicated to finding and taking the steps to sustain this new or revitalized faith.
