At Plough, we’re always keen to encourage conversations and relationships, nurturing a community of writers, readers, and doers who, while belonging to diverse traditions, share some common convictions. In that spirit, we’re inviting all Lancaster area Plough readers to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 119 S Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603 on April 25, 2026 for conversation and conviviality.
This is a chance to discuss the latest issue of Plough, meet other readers in your area, learn from each other, and generally enjoy good company and refreshments. We’ll be sending representatives to this meetup to hear what matters to you as a Plough reader.
The meetup will be followed by the second annual gathering of Anabaptists and Catholics in Lancaster. The aim of the gathering is to understand the history of both movements, to learn from both traditions of living for the Kingdom, to continue to discuss doctrinal differences, and to pray together for the reunion of all Christians in the one Church, as Jesus desires (John 17:21). This year's theme will be the stories of martyrdom in both traditions.
