Derek Taylor is the founding Director of the Emmaus Scholars Program and a lecturer of theology at Whitworth University. He is the author of Reading Scripture as the Church: Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Hermeneutic of Discipleship (IVP Academic, 2020) and The Practice of Creaturely Life: Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the Art of Being Human (Fortress Press, forthcoming). He lives in Spokane, Washington, with his wife and two sons.
