    Corrie ten Boom (1892–1983) and her family helped Jewish people in the Netherlands to escape from the Nazis. After an informant tipped off the authorities, she was arrested along with her sister Betsie and their father, Casper. Casper died after ten days and the two sisters were sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp, where Betsie died. Corrie survived and became a writer and public speaker.  Read Full Biography
