Action-packed and exciting, the 2017 Gal Gadot film pitted the Amazon princess Diana of Themyscira against Ares, god of war, in a World War I setting. I didn’t know much about Wonder Woman besides a vague understanding that she was a feminine force for the good. Online reviews of the movie were overwhelmingly positive.
