CheckoutCity and Kingdom Twin Cities will meet on August 16th at 6 p.m. in the Shamrock Room at O’Gara’s Bar & Grill. We will be hosting a discussion with Dr. Gary Jahn, a professor at the University of Minnesota, to talk about the intersection of the Kingdom and Leo Tolstoy’s writings. How was he influenced by Jesus and the Sermon on the Mount? How should we understand his writings not only philosophically, but theologically? Is it fair to call Tolstoy a “Christian anarchist”?
