We have gunners sitting
On plush office chairs, controlling drones,
Mowing down women and
Children all over the world.
They fight terrorism
So tis said,
But the real menace
Is here among us:
Couch potato inertia,
Discouragement, apathy,
Hatred,
And the perverse lifestyles
That go along with it all.
We cause the wars and the torture
When we are sluggish and vindictive;
We destroy this fair earth
When we refuse to be warriors in discipline;
We destroy our own lives
When we demand luxuries,
Forgetting that the ultimate luxury is

To stop demanding.
